Pueblo Libre is the former home in Peru of revolutionary heroes Simón Bolívar, José de San Martín and Manuela Sáenz during Peru’s fight for independence. Earning it the nickname ‘Villa de los Libertadores‘ (Village of the Liberators). Pueblo Libre was also the seat of Peruvian Government during the ‘War in the Pacific’!

Travel Tip: Pueblo Libre was the only place on the continent where Simón Bolívar, José de San Martín and Manuela Sáenz were all active! And within just 50 meters you can see where Bolívar, San Martín, Sáenz and Bolívar’s best friend, all lived!
